The programme is built around three core knowledge areas that reflect the evolving demands of global business:
Global Strategies in a Digitized World Students learn to develop and implement international strategies that respond to digital transformation, market volatility, and sustainability challenges.
Global Marketing and Entrepreneurship This area focuses on building entrepreneurial capabilities and marketing strategies that support sustainable growth in diverse international contexts.
Leading People in a Global Business Environment Students explore leadership, human resource management, and organizational development with a strong emphasis on ethics, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable practices.
The curriculum is interdisciplinary and practice-oriented, combining theoretical depth with real-world application. Key learning components include:
Strategic planning for global digital business
Sustainable marketing and entrepreneurial innovation
Ethical leadership and global HR management
Integration of economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainability
Critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving
Cross-cultural communication and negotiation
Group projects, simulations, and guest lectures from industry experts
Capstone course: “Sustainable Global Business in Practice”
Optional double degree opportunity with partner universities in Germany, France, Italy, or the Czech Republic

The programme’s emphasis on responsible leadership and global competence ensures strong employability across industries and regions.
For non-EU/EEA students, the tuition fee is €14,000 per academic year. Scholarships are available and may reduce the fee by up to €6,000 per year, based on academic merit, early commitment, and study progress. Students should also budget approximately €1,000–1,100 per month for living expenses in Vaasa.
The programme offers two admission pathways:
Joint Admission Applications open on January 8, 2025, and close on January 22, 2025. Studies begin in Autumn 2025.
Rolling Admission Applications open on October 21, 2024, and close on March 31, 2025. Studies also begin in Autumn 2025.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early, especially for rolling admission, as seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:
A recognized Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, management, or related disciplines
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00/5 (ECTS scale) or equivalent
Strong foundation in business studies, including courses in marketing, strategy, and organizational behavior
Proof of English proficiency via IELTS (minimum 6.5), TOEFL iBT (minimum 92), or PTE Academic (minimum 62)
Conditional admission is possible for students graduating by July 10, 2025
Applicants from non-business backgrounds may be considered if they demonstrate relevant coursework or professional experience
